Fan Funded PHOTOSHOOT!!

I'm still running The UNBIASED LOVE CONTEST (Cough! Going BROKE! Cough!), but I took time to see RED today, and it was pretty fun. Lots of shooting, and witty lines, even if the story was a bit preposterous. Bruce Willis is gonna be doing this stuff FOREVER...and why am I now HOT for Helen Mirren?

...but what I would REALLY like to announce is...

THE FAN FUNDED PHOTOSHOOT!!!

The Fan Funded Photoshoot is an idea I had, where fans of a model could pool their money together to pay for a photoshoot. So, if a model charged say $200 for an hour long photoshoot, then 10 fans could pay $20 each they could book the photoshoot as a group. The time of the photoshoot would be divided up into slots that fans could purchase, so using the previous example, each of the 10 fans would get 6 minutes of photoshoot time where the FAN would be the DIRECTOR. The fan would script the model in what poses to get in, or what outfits to wear, and if it was a video being made (as opposed to just photographs), then the fan could even have the model read off some simple dialogue, or act out a scene. I'm going to attach a small service fee of $2 per slot, to go to myself, because I'm the one arranging the shoot, and providing all of the base cash to make ensure models are paid and that the shoot happens.

Now I originally wanted to do this with a cosplay model, but those costumes are EXPENSIVE and cost extra money. However, if anyone knows of a cosplay model that ALREADY HAS a wide range of costumes, then maybe I can get them for this project as well. As it is, I've found two great, and beautiful models who are willing to try this with me and anyone else who wants to join in. They both are also THEIR OWN PHOTOGRAPHERS. You give the directions and  they perform the actions on camera. They are:

The first is Julia, better known as . She's great with doing her own photography, and even just put out her own calender. She even says she may want to make something SULTRY this time around.

I'm already payed Julia $150 to complete a photoshoot, where she will produce about 50 to 100 good photos (or what SHE considers good...I think they're ALL good.) She says she wants to do a layout kind of like KATY PERRY did for her California Gurls video and album cover...just with a lot less candy.

If anyone wants to join in, it would be $150 divided by 10 slots, which equals $15 + my $2 fee, which would total $17 per slot (5-10 photos per fan). We could always take on more people and do a longer photoshoot, but that's the minimum it would take for me to get all of my money back.

I wanted the second model to make a video, but it's hard to find such models on DA because they don't let you upload VIDEO (FIX that, DA), so I went outside of this site and enlisted the help of model, and fitness beauty, Megan Avalon. Here's a link to her website:www.meganavalon.net/

I've already booked Megan for a 30 minute webcam video, at a cost of $250. YES, horndogs, Megan will be CLOTHING OPTIONAL...it's up to whoever directs her during their slot. I decided to divide the slots for Megan's video into 2 minute intervals, so the cost would be around $17 + my $2 fee for $19 per slot. She has an array of bikinis, lingeries and dresses to pose in or strip out of, but you'll have to account for her time to change into a new outfit if you want that. Of course, if you just want her in her BIRTHDAY suit that's a bit easier.

So even if nobody else joins in, these photoshoots WILL happen, either this weekend or next Wednesday by the latest. I'm hoping that I can get some investors to support this, fill all the slots, and maybe even ADD to the photoshoot times. If so, there may be a lucrative business in this for many different models, as well as a little change on the side for myself.

To all you broke deviants out there, it's okay, I know how it is. Just please comment and give your opinions. Your constructive criticism ALWAYS helps.

But if you've got a LITTLE extra cash, this venture would cost you less than ordering an extra large 3 topping pizza from Papa Johns...at least it WOULD have before the PIZZA WARS!!...3 mediums for 5 bucks each...DAYUM I'm hungry!

THIS IS MY MISSION!!

I just want to say, that not only do I believe ideas like these can work, but I also think that this is the future of business in the internet age. As companies lose money because people can find free copies of music, art and film on the internet, it looks as if the way the web can HELP the entertainment industry is by getting fans to fund their OWN creations. Fans can support what they want, and who they want DIRECTLY, instead of having to turn to television or radio and HOPING that your favorite show stays on the air, or your favorite actor gets work. This is where it begins...maybe one day i can get enough fans together to syndicate Invader Zim, and Angel...and...and...Where the hell IS Carmen San Diego anyway?!


I'm also still working on my other projects like COMIC BOOK INVESTMENT, the PAY-IN COMIC, and the UNBIASED LOVE CONTEST (Going BROKE..cough! cough!). I'm also still willing to to do CONTEST COMMISSIONS with anyone who sees a contest they want to enter and would like some backing.

THE UNBIASED LOVE CONTEST!!!

That's RIGHT, I'm holding my OWN contest. It's open to everyone, from 2d to 3D artists, to prose, poem and songwriters, as well as models and photographers.

The object of the contest is to show love with NO BIGOTRY. As I'm TOTALLY against prejudice by race, age, sexuality, gender, culture, or any other B.S. societies create to keep decent people apart, I wanted to make a contest to promote the idea of unbiased love. You can draw, write or photograph anything that you feel is an example of consestual, non-dicriminatory love. The entries can be naughty or nice , but  remember, this is CONSENSUAL love...so no depictions of people or things that can't consent (i.e. no raep, kiddie-pron, or disturbing use of GERBILS...unless the gerbils ASKED for it!)

You can also enter works you have ALREADY made if you think they really fit the contest. Just send me a note with the title "Contest Entry", and give me a link to your entry. You can enter as many submissions as you want.

1st prize is $30 or 2400 points
